What is the Thriving Together Fund?

The Thriving Together Fund boosts public health investment and brings previously separate, one-off funding streams together.

It provides charities and organisations in County Durham the chance to fund new projects or keep existing ones going beyond their original funding.

These projects and activities will support residents of County Durham to be born, live, work and age in good health and in connected and resilient communities.

• Thriving Together Fund (small grants): Grants between £2,000 and £5,000

At a minimum, your project must cover £2,000 a year of costs for staff or volunteers to take part in additional training that supports delivery of your project.

If you apply to this fund, you cannot apply to the Public Health Thriving Together Fund (large grants).

• Thriving Together Fund (large grants): Grants between £5,000 and £25,000 per year for up to three years (£75,000 maximum request).

At a minimum, your project must cover £2,000 a year of costs for staff or volunteers to take part in additional training that supports delivery of your project.

If you apply to this fund, you cannot apply to the Public Health Thriving Together Fund (small grants).

If you already hold a grant from the previous round, then you cannot apply for this round.
