Funding Update: Community Grants Programme

We know times are tough right now for the many brilliant charities and community groups in County Durham, Tees Valley and the wider North East.

From Thursday 1 May, our Community Grants Programme will increase from £5,000 to up to £7,000.

About Community Grants Programme

Point North’s Community Grants Programme provides grants focusing on sustaining health and wellbeing and reducing inequalities.

Examples of how the fund can be used include; contribution towards core or running costs, essential maintenance, salaries or part salaries, and capital items.

It’s just one way we’re supporting the people who are doing the hard work of keeping our communities well, connected and supported.

But here’s the key bit: Only applications submitted from Thursday 1 May will be eligible for the new £7,000 limit.

If you apply before that date or are waiting to hear a decision from an application you’ve already submitted, the maximum grant available will still be up to £5,000.
